58th Annual STS (1998–1999)
Semifinalists

The Semifinalists of the 58th Annual Science Talent Search were chosen from among 1,470 entrants and represent 184 high schools in 39 states. Completed entries were received from 49 states, Puerto Rico and an international school in Egypt. From this group of 156 males and 144 females, 40 finalists were chosen to attend the Science Talent Institute in Washington, D.C. from March 3–8, 1999.
